Pages on Mac

Page is the lowest level of Outline hierarchy. It contains your actual notes.

New Page

To add a new page click + New Page at the top of the page list and enter a title.

Rename Page

When you change a page title, its name also changes. Just open a page, and type a new title.

Make Subpage

To change the level of page, click to hold it and move it to the right. You can also right-click on its title to see the list of options. Choose Increase level and Decrease Level to get a subpage or to return the page.

Change Order of Pages

Long-click the page tab in the page list and drag&drop it to a new location in the current section or another one in the same notebook. 

Change color

Want your page to look different?  Easy!
Right-click the page tab in the page list > Set Color and select the background colour you want for your page.
Delete a Page

Right-click on a page and choose Delete.
    NOTE: You won't be able to undo this action.
               If you want to restore the deleted page, use Backup option to restore the whole
               section and copy-paste the page to your original section.
Export to PDF and Send by E-mail

Right-click on a page to export it to PDF: select Export Page to PDF if you want the whole page to me transferred or Export Printout if you want only annotated PDF that you've added to your page to get exported.

When you choose Send by E-mail the page gets exported to PDF automatically, the PDF appears as attachment to a new Mac Mail message.

If you use any other mailing client, use Share function to select the app to attach your PDF to.

           NOTE: You can quickly switch between pages using keyboard shortcuts. Hit CTRL + < to
                     open previous page and CTRL + > to open next page.

Recent Pages

In Outline you can view the list of pages you recently opened or worked with. 
The list is located in the upper-left corner of the navigation tree (right above NOTEBOOKS).

It is open by default. To collapse or expand it back, please click the arrow next to RECENTS.
